Unscentable Chapter 30

Izzy POVIzzy was excited to visit her new store, which she had designed with her own personal touches. She met Paul and Devon there and was thrilled to see her office space, which included a modern curved white lacquered executive desk and a Napoli high-backed office chair. She also planned to add a comfortable dark grey velvet Chesterfield sofa and a white wood coffee table.

However, her visit was disrupted by the unexpected arrival of Edward, aka Mr. Yummy. He had come to see her, and Izzy was not prepared to face him. She tried to leave, but Edward followed her, calmly and deliberately, and eventually caught up to her in the hotel stairwell. Despite her best efforts to escape, Izzy found herself trapped against the wall, with Edward’s mouth on hers, his hands grasping at her body. The encounter ended with Izzy experiencing a powerful o$$$$m, and Edward making it clear that he would not tolerate her running away from him again.

Brad and his fellow wolves, Cooper and Harry, are dealing with the aftermath of Eddie’s wolf, Timber, mating with Izzy in a hotel stairwell. Additionally, she was worried about Harper’s silence and refusal to talk to her, and the weird dreams she was having seemed to be a manifestation of her own anxiety.

As she got dressed, she encountered a surprise – Edward was sleeping in Izzy’s bed with her. Piper was not pleased, and her annoyance only grew when she learned that Izzy had given in to Edward’s begging and let him stay the night. After discussing the new salary and benefits, Piper let Izzy know that she would be overseeing the overseas offices. She roared with all her might, hoping Edward could hear her, and eventually, he arrived with Brandon on his back. Piper pointed out the direction the SUV went, and they set off to find Izzy.

Bradley received a text message from Eddie, which read “Piper’s phone LOL, I’ll delete this.” Bradley was curious about how Eddie managed to get Piper’s phone and sent him a message from it. Piper leaned back and acknowledged that there was no way to do anything till they arrived at the hotel, so she tried to stay calm and let Harper heal her wound as best she could. When they arrived at the hotel, she realized that neither Bradley nor Cooper knew what Phillip looked like, and they had to rely on Piper’s description to find him. She spotted the hire car that had taken Izzy and felt a surge of anger.

Piper confronted Phillip, who was holding Izzy by the arm, and with Harper’s strength, she crushed his forearm, forcing him to let go of Izzy. She punched him in the face, breaking some of his bones, and Harley snarled at him, making him back away. Lizzy was shaken, having seen Harper’s true nature, but Piper was relieved to see that Izzy was unharmed. Phillip, on the other hand, was in a world of pain, and Piper was grateful that Bradley had arrived to take him away. Piper was furious at Phillip’s actions and felt a deep sense of satisfaction at having vented her anger on him.
