Chapter 120

I woke up to the horror of losing my son Austin and mate, and I’m consumed by anger and grief. I realize that I underestimated the danger of vampires and feeling helpless in the face of this tragedy. I’m trying to come up with a plan to defend myself and the pack, but I’m torn between my desire for revenge and my duty to protect my people. I know that Eloise, my daughter, will have to be told about the fate of her family, and I’m dreading that conversation.

Reagan, the breath of fresh air in this crisis, has already taken charge and come up with a plan to protect the pack. She’s assembled a team of warriors, gathered supplies, and coordinated with the pack members to prepare for the night ahead. Her confidence and determination are inspiring, and I’m impressed by her ability to think on her feet. The plan is to move the pack members to the top two floors of the packhouse, board up the windows and doors, and have the warriors secure the area. We’ll divide the stakes and swords among the three locations, and be ready to face the vampires when they return. I have no doubt that Reagan will lead us through this night, and I’m grateful to have her by my side.

Chapter 121

I woke up in the hospital room, feeling disoriented and worried that I had lost time. Clive told me I wasn’t out for more than 40 seconds, but I had no memory of it. I quickly dressed and started to give instructions to Clive and Aaron, trying to focus on the task at hand. We needed to prepare for the vampire attack that was coming at dusk, and I had ideas on how to do it. I told Clive to split the warriors into two groups, with half at the packhouse and half at the hospital, and instructed them on how to set up the defenses. I also told them to bring holy water and swords, and to keep the windows boarded up.

As the sun started to set, we finished securing our home, and the 80 pack members stayed with us. I was relieved to see that everyone was safe and secure, and we were all prepared for the night ahead. But just as we were about to close the door, I saw the vampires standing outside, looking amused at our attempts to defend ourselves. They seemed confident that their superior numbers and strength would win out, but I was determined to prove them wrong. I called out to Jeremy, who had stepped out to see what was going on, and we all tensed up, waiting for the battle to begin.

Chapter 122

I felt a mix of emotions after crying in the shower, including anger and frustration towards my father for his past actions. My mother had finally found happiness with him, but it was short-lived. I’m still trying to process my grief and anger, and I’m consumed by the desire to punish the person responsible for her death. I know my father had a hand in it, but I don’t believe he would kill her. I just want to know why and who else was involved.

The warrior, who seems to have an agenda against me, is trying to communicate with me through the window. He claims he won’t hurt me or my children and wants me to come with him willingly. He says he’s lived for over 400 years and has never sensed anyone with my level of power. If I don’t agree to leave with him, he threatens to return every night and level my pack. I’m horrified by his proposal and know I won’t be going anywhere with him. I’ve got my gun and Jeremy has a sword, we’re ready to defend ourselves and our family against this determined and seemingly insane warrior.

Chapter 123

Blake is struggling to cope with the fact that his Luna, Cheryl, has left him and is not returning. He is desperate to make her see that he has changed and only loves her, but she has made it clear that she will not be coming back. In a last-ditch effort, Blake plans to take their children with him to Black Adder and beg her to return to their pack.

As Blake and his children set out on their journey, he is consumed by feelings of rage and resentment towards Graham, who he believes is responsible for the state of their relationship. He is haunted by his own mistakes and the pain he has caused Cheryl and their children. His wolf, Kona, intervenes, pointing out that Blake’s behavior has been unreasonable and hurtful to Cheryl, and that he deserves no sympathy or understanding. Blake’s anxiety and frustration only grow as he realizes that his plan to reunite his family may not work, and he is forced to confront the harsh reality of his mistakes.

Chapter 124

I walked into the hallway to send a mindlink to Raven that we had visitors at the gate. I suspected who it was, but Cheryl, still recovering from being in bed, couldn’t get up to go to the gate. I decided to go talk to the visitor, who I believed was Cheryl’s mate, and tell him about what he had done to her. I assured Raven that I would make sure he didn’t get into the facility.

I arrived at the nurse’s desk, where Dr. Maxwell Childress was on shift. I asked him to assess Cheryl’s condition to determine if she was strong enough to go to the gate and reject her mate. Cheryl felt she needed to do this face-to-face to break the bond between them, and I agreed. Dr. Childress recommended that Cheryl use a wheelchair and have a nurse accompany her. Despite reservations, I ultimately agreed, knowing that this was an opportunity for Cheryl to take control of her situation and move forward.

Chapter 125

Cheryl’s emotions are in turmoil as she faces Blake, the father of her children and a man who has repeatedly hurt and betrayed her. She is stunned by his apologies and his willingness to admit that Graham manipulated him, but she is too hurt and angry to forgive him. She remembers all the times he made her feel worthless, ashamed, and helpless, and how he made her children believe lies about her. She feels overwhelming sadness and guilt as she realizes that she might have been too weak to protect herself and her children from his abuse.

Chapter 126

Raven looked out from behind the SUV as Brandon and Justin mindlinked to ask about two boys who had been hiding with them. She saw Blake’s stunned expression as his son Kevin revealed his pain and anger about being bullied and picked on at Black Moon pack. Kevin apologized for not defending himself and blamed Blake for not stopping the abuse, saying that he had been confused and hurt by his father’s lack of support.

Blake’s words of apology and regret were met with Cheryl’s rejection, as she refused to return to Black Moon and demanded that he stop trying to contact her. Blake vowed to try again and again, refusing to give up on their relationship and declaring that he would keep Graham alive until she and Kevin returned. Blake’s pain and devotion were palpable as he expressed his love and commitment to Cheryl, determined to make things right and win her back.

Chapter 127

Blake is furious and feeling betrayed after discovering that his mate, Cheryl, might have been drugged by Graham and Cassandra to sleep with him. He’s convinced that they used the same drug on him, and he’s determined to get to the bottom of it. He instructs Garrett and Marc to search Graham and Cassandra’s home for any evidence of the drug, and then to search Kara’s room as well. Once they find it, they’ll take the other four girls down to the cells and make sure they can’t escape or hide the evidence.

Blake’s thoughts are consumed by his anger and resentment towards Graham and the others. He feels like he’s been blind to what’s been going on and is determined to make things right. He’s also thinking about his children, Casey and Robert, and how they’re not speaking to him because of his behavior. He’s determined to show his mate that he’s changed and willing to do whatever it takes to win her back. He plans to have his men keep an eye on the girls’ rooms while they search and make sure they can’t sneak away or destroy evidence.

Chapter 128

Four days have passed since Graham, the Alpha’s valued daughter’s mate, has been held captive in a cell. Graham is struggling with the harsh conditions and is determined to speak to Blake about improving the situation. Despite the difficulties, Graham’s thoughts are consumed by his favorite picture of him and Cassandra, his mate, from her Luna ceremony. The image of her smiling face brings back memories of happier times.

Graham’s calm is disrupted by the arrival of Blake and Aaron, who reveal that vampires have appeared at Blood Tracker and are claiming that Reagan, Graham’s mate, is their mate. Blake and Aaron have made a deal with the vampire, proposing that Reagan go willingly in exchange for their pack’s safety. Graham is horrified and begs Aaron to convince Reagan not to make a deal with the vampires, knowing that she will do anything to protect her children.

Chapter 129

Graham is confronted by Blake about his past betrayals, including revealing that he recorded a conversation between Graham and Cheryl several years ago. Graham tries to deny the recording, but Blake isn’t buying it, and Graham realizes that he underestimated Blake’s reaction. Graham offers to let bygones be bygones and move forward, but Blake makes it clear that there’s no way for Graham to leave Black Moon alive. Instead, Blake is going to take Graham to Black Adder or the council, where he will be put to death.

Chapter 130

As Brandon walked away from the screams of the women, he couldn’t help but feel a sense of satisfaction. He had finally found a way to punish them for their betrayal, not in the classical sense, but in a way that would make them suffer just as much as he had. He had a plan in place, and with the help of his pack, they would be able to make it a reality. He thought back on the day’s events, discussing with Aaron and researching ways to keep the vampires at bay. He was grateful for Aaron’s insight and understanding, and he was confident that their plan would work.

Brandon’s thoughts turned to Cheryl and Kevin, and he felt a pang of guilt for what happened to them. He knew he had to make it right, and he was willing to do whatever it took to make that happen. He began to order flowers for Black Adder, including one for Raven, and he finally settled on azaleas for Cheryl. He wanted her to think of him every time she looked at the flowers, and he hoped that one day they could return to their home together. With his plan in place, Brandon retired to his room, his mind consumed by the challenges ahead.

Chapter 131

I was proud of Cheryl for standing her ground with Blake, despite his admission of jealousy and attempting to manipulate her into forgiving him. Blake’s desperation to get her back was palpable, and his love for her was evident. However, as Raven, I believe that Cheryl should not be swayed by Blake’s apologies and should focus on her own feelings and well-being. Kevin, Blake’s mate, is also a strong individual who has been wronged in the past, and Raven expresses a hope that Blake can rectify the situation and prove his love for both Cheryl and Kevin.

Raven also expresses concerns about Forest, Blake’s son, who is reportedly being groomed by Graham to take over as Alpha. Forest is shown to be selfish and manipulative, and Raven believes that he will drive the pack into the ground if he becomes the Alpha. Additionally, Forest’s behavior towards Kevin is seen as disrespectful, and Raven is glad that Brandon intervened to prevent an altercation between the two. Overall, Raven’s narrative is a candid and emotional exploration of the complexities of pack dynamics and the struggles of being a mother, mate, and warrior.

Chapter 132

Reagan’s plan to pick up the vampire dust for the plan at Black Moon was met with hesitation, but Aaron ultimately convinced her to come by calling Blake and getting approval. Reagan was nervous about being punished for returning to Black Moon, but Aaron reassured her that it wasn’t about that. He revealed that the plan was to bring Cheryl, her mother, back to Blood Tracker and that a burial plot was being prepared.

Aaron then revealed the shocking truth about her parents’ past. Her father, Graham, had started spreading rumors about Cheryl cheating on Blake and that their second child was actually Brandon’s. The pack believed it, and Blake ended up ostracizing Cheryl and their son Kevin. Aaron explained that her father’s plan was to hurt Blake and Cheryl, and it got worse when Blake started cheating on Cheryl with multiple women. Her father had instigated the whole thing, using partial truths to manipulate Blake. Reagan was horrified by her father’s actions and felt guilty for not speaking up sooner.

Chapter 133

I’m really sorry, Blake, for the horrible things my father did to you and Cheryl. I didn’t know what he was doing until recently, and I’m ashamed of his actions. I know my father is excellent at making plans, but I believe he did what he’s accused of, and I want to hear the recording to make sure. I don’t blame Cheryl at all for what she did to get free, and I’m sorry for the pain and suffering he’s put you and your family through. I want you to know that I didn’t ask him to act on my account, and I’m OK with whatever punishment you deem necessary.

As we headed to Blake’s office, I couldn’t help but think about my past and how it all came back to me. I regret not training harder and being able to protect myself, but now I’m confident in my ability to protect not just myself, but my children as well. After we entered the office, Blake explained that my father wanted me to move back to Black Moon and that he had petitioned him to allow it. However, Blake refused, and instead had taken over my father’s bank account, offering me 15 million dollars. But the shock came when he said that Alpha Cole and the pack of Black Adder had known our location for the past 5 days.

Chapter 134

I’m Graham, and I’ve had a miserable night with the she-wolves who claimed to be my friends, crying and blaming me for their own mistakes. They’re on their way to Blood Tracker, and I’m stuck in this damp cell, thinking about how to get out and get my funds back. I was relieved when I heard the door open, thinking it was the warriors, but it was just Blake, and my daughter Reagan. She’s been a constant source of comfort for me, and I was worried he’d put her in a cell, too.

I tried to reason with her, telling her I’m not guilty of what they’re saying, and that Blake is just trying to torment me. I laid it on thick, trying to guilt-trip him into releasing me, but the she-wolves just kept bawling, and I realized that Blake is planning to get revenge on Garrett and Marc, too. I decided to play the pitiful father card, sitting down and trying to look crushed, hoping to garner some pity from them. I still can’t figure out why Reagan’s not happy to see me, but I’ll try to win her over and get her to support my escape.
